Indian Child Welfare Act Specialist

Provide Expert Witness services for Sacramento, Butte, Colusa, Glenn, Tehama, Sutter and Modoc County Child Welfare agencies as well as Tehama County Probation Department, Juvenile. Consulted with the Cachil Dehe Band of Wintun Indians to develop a children’s receiving home, housed on the Colusa Indian reservation.

Children’s Hope Foster Family Agency, Social Worker
Provide all aspects of case management duties for children placed in Foster and adoptive care.

1996–2003
Butte County Children’s Services, Social Worker IV
Performed social work duties within the following units: Intake (Child Abuse Reporting Line), Child Abuse Investigations, Minor Parent Services and Investigations, Placement Specialist, Voluntary Family Maintenance Services.

1991–1995
Hoopa Valley Tribal Housing Program, Administrative Assistant
Supervised 20 employees, developed federal budgets, grant writing, assisted with housing application process, provided clientele case documentation for Attorney General’s audit.
